I’m glad someone forked OnlyOffice but wish they came up with a better name than EuroOffice

It is an AMD Jaguar from 2013.

I add my vote for MXLinux

I use LinuxMint and have been since 2018 or so. I have been using since 2007. Though the first time I tried using it was in 2003 but it didn’t go well for me at the time.

Use something stable and boring like LinuxMint. No issues in 7 years.

The US and the UK forcefully removed the people of the island to build the base.

As a first step, see if you can get by by just using FOSS software on Windows. If you can, then you will lose nothing, swapping your “app launcher” is inconsequential if the programs you use are the same.
Wine/Proton are very good when it comes to game support, so you should be alright there. You can always check protondb and winehq to confirm the support status of the game you want.
I recommend a boring and stable distro like LinuxMint. It is based on Ubuntu but even better imho.
Using GNU+Linux is not much of a challenge, I have been doing it for 20 years. I want another ReactOS challenge.

Every terminal program I used allows you to set its colours independent of the global theme.

I use FOSS even when I used to use Windows. So the programs I use and format I use were ready for me to switch. If for some reason you rely on a proprietary or Windows-only software you may have to make the effort to migrate, readjust and learn a new set of software to to do your work.

Yes, except for the last word, there’s no ‘d’

The alternatives don’t have to be perfect. Reducing the dominance of any single country is a good thing.

Truly impressive. Either I have been alive for a long time or the rate of progress is accelerating. I thought we were decades away from this.

Yup. Hate all of them.
I currently use KDE Plasma, Cinnamon and LXQt on three different computers. On most DEs I can manage myself just well. I never liked GNOME post 2. I have recently used MATE, LXDE and Xfce

Those apps on Windows tend to be just wrappers around the commands, which suggests there is an opening for someone to come along and wrap commands on Linux that don’t have any graphical wrappers. I personally wouldn’t trust a random app from the web so I never used them on Windows, but on Linux those could be delivered through the official repositories and package manager.

No, I got it from Satya Nadella’s alt account
Ever since PRC stopped sharing data with Top500 we don’t know where they stand but they are definitely not standing still.
