I’ve broken my Lemmy system a couple of times. Yunohost and Lemmy do not go well together. Went to docker and its slow but dependable. I like playing around with it but how do people keep up with Lemmy.world? It just slams my network.

I think in order fpe this to succeed they are going to NEED good games. No really that’s what people care about.

This is fantastic.

Its a window into the actual internals of the machine. I would say yes, its one of hte many ways linux sets itself way from Windows. And its VERY lightweight. Some linux distros dont need it, some do.
Heck even MacOS has a terminal app. Just because

In addition to what others say, you can also try WebToEpub (with a delay) for some comics. It works well with web comics.
freshrss is also great at ongoing series.

I just want you all to know you are awesome,. Thanks for doing what you do.

This is awesome!!

Thanks, its there now!

So hypothetically, what if a bunch of protestors showed up with IC E shirts/pants/etc… without license plates and started to protest? How would they know who was who at that point?
It doesn’t even look that hard to do given how much memorabilia there is online.
For me yunohost is the simplest.

Instead of closing out, task manager creates another instance of itself.
Its hilarious.

I have been noticing a boost in people using Linux with gaming. There’s a lot of benefits. Most of the time Linux is better at battery and performance than the alteratives.
In addition, windows 11 is pretty unstable right now. Even the task manager has bugs haha.

I’m litteraly running mine on an old tiny mini PC. And as long as you dont abuse instances, hosting videos is as easy as signing up and clickng post.
peertube.wtf pulls almost all known instances (or all the good ones at least).
You can always go over to !peertube@lemmy.world if you would like to watch videos but not necessarily get a peertube account. Or subscribe to peertube channels directly (works better on piefed than lemmy but both should theoretically work.
👍
…I should spin up a piefed server just for the fun of it.
One of the reasons we all switched. A public modlist is so nice over here. At least we get reasons.
