The US State Department will be required to use Times New Roman instead of Calibri for official documents, starting 10 December.

This is how we know that the overwhelming majority of “anti woke” posturing in American society is mostly about theatrics and subservience to oligarchs.

If the USA ever get‘s a democratic Government again, there is so much to rewind.

Luckily, in vast parts they could just follow the https://www.project2025.observer/de in reverse.

Yes that would restore some of the worst changes but the US has been classified as a flawed democracy for quite some time now and I don’t see how it could be fixed without major changes that will certainly be opposed by many Americans as they tend to treat the constitution like holy scripture and would not accept major changes to it.

the press was scolded for its frequent use of “Roman characters” under “Jewish influence”

makes sense for a rotten fascist brain

Remember that right wingers like serif fonts like times new roman and the preference for sans serif fonts (like calibri) increases as you become more left wing

I mean this with 100% gebuiness, are you being serious? Wouldn’t not be the weirdest thing that correlates to political ideology I’ve seen.

Since Calibri was designed to be easier to read by visually impaired people, in particular in displays, isn’t there a simple workaround to display Times New Roman as Calibri?

Reading the “In Crime and Politics” section of the Calibri Wikipedia page, I can’t help but think the motivation here is so the State Department can release falsified documents predating 2006 without being found out.

If I was one to troll these idiots, I’d make a campaign on their nazi forums that a serif font is pandering and only a proper aryan gothic will do
