@ray@lemmy.ml Got it done, I’m first of the mods here and will be learning a little Lemmy over the next few weeks.

While everything is up in the air with the reddit changes I’ll be very busy working on replacing the historical pushshift API without reddits bastardizations should a PS version come back.

In the mean time you should all mirror this data ensuring its survival, do what you do best and HOARD!!

    The Eye archive is down since Nov/2025 and it dosn’t seem to be coming back anytime soon. I think its more than hard drive failure. And even if it was hard drive failure its a very bad practice having a public facing website on same hard drive where you store your data.

    I’m so glad there is an alternative to reddit now. I love this community and would find it hard to leave reddit if there wasn’t an another similar forum

    Long time lurker here (or there), so I finally created an account to contribute. Thanks datahoarders for all the knowledge you spread on the internet, even if it is geared towards hoarding some questionable stuff.
