Oh shit, that’s awesome. I have got mod organizer installed in my skyrim prefix, but that took quite a bit of fiddling and isn’t great for installing modpakcs. Never quite got wabbajack working

I’ve only had the nitrokey for a few months, so can’t comment on the durability yet.
I did have a yubikey before. My experience with them wasn’t great, I often had to re-plug in the key because the touch to activate thing was pretty unreliable for me, often just not responding to touch at all.
Though ultimately the reason I chose nitrokey is because I was just looking for a European alternative.
I have a nitrokey which works great. Only downside is the software isn’t as user friendly, you need to set it up using the cli.
Iirc before dolphin would just refuse to run as root, I guess this is an improvement

Not the most ethical, but kobo is also very easily de-drm’d with calibre.
Actually no this is not even unethical, I did actually pay for those books.

So it’s only the cups-browsed service. I wonder if that’s enabled on any distros by default. Will have to check mine tomorrow.

I just use homebrew with quarantine disabled (otherwise homebrew will auto-update the package with quarantine enabled again, even if you installed it without).
I don’t like macs. Just have to use one for work.
Good point, I never even considered looking for a different prompt. Starship looks interesting, trying that today!
My zsh is pretty slow sometimes, but that’s because I’ve enabled all kinds of git stuff in my prompt. I wish it could do those git commands asynchronously.
I don’t have an answer to your problem unfortunately, just curious. Is there any way this software is actually whitelabel and these other versions are legitimately using it and their own branding?
