3 Indian tech workers in a trench coat.
They’ve been trying to make a comeback somewhat recently. I think they saw an opportunity in the uptick of Reddit hate ever since their IPO shenanigans and are trying to pull an UNO reverse on them.
Idk how many people on Reddit now ever even heard of Digg though, let alone used it back in the day, so I’m curious to see how this plays out.
Dunno, I’d have to investigate this later. Thanks for the info!
Powerdeletesuite?
With how so many services are forcing it upon us, I’d have to disagree.
It’s also getting to be a bit of a chore to block AI elements on all the various websites implementing them, and a few of the worst offenders (Google is one that I know does this) add a random string of characters on the element that serve as a unique identifier that periodically changes and so requires me to readd them to my UBO blocklist. On each device…
It is the most effective solution for sure, though.
They don’t need everyone, just dimwits who think being in a bubble is a good idea. Anyone who isn’t immediately sold based on the post title alone are not their target audience.
Probably made a good deal selling the data they harvested off to the highest bidder(s), not to mention the projected revenue from targeting ads at this demographic.
Truly despicable how openly two-faced these megacorps are with this “protect the children!” schlock they’re using to force us to give them even more of our personal information while actively going against the very principles they claim are the reason for such invasive practices.
or changing their product from a one time purchase to a subscription model, I predict there’s gonna be a lot more of that with this new forced app updates change.
-and then continue doing it because that’s chump change to them.
Cunt?
Pfft hahahaha
Even with good internet if you’re watching on the wrong device (desktop/media center PC) your stream will get bitrate locked to a 720p equivalent or whatever because of DRM bullshit.
*Yet
The Copilot+ moniker is only limited to a specific subset of PCs for now until all hardware on the market meets the requirements, then it’s inescapable. Microsoft will have your data, and I’m all but certain of an ulterior motive beyond just that for forcing this screen capture garbage onto their userbase.
Better to prepare now and move off the MS ecosystem entirely.
All according to plan
