Each one specifies the standard and is almost always printed on the cable. I can’t think of any off the top of my head that wasn’t labeled but I’m sure there are and if you don’t see it printed on the cable then throw it out.

Speaker setups have been expensive for a while if they’re done correctly with good equipment. This just changes what goes to the speakers.
Usually if money is burning a hole in your pocket then it means it’s extra money and bills are paid. At least, that is how I’ve always used it and heard it used.
Sounds like a shit VPN to me. I can select a region (US East) or individual states with PIA and basically the same with Surfshark.
