16 days agoArch is known for upgrades breaking things, which is easy enough to fix if you know the right incantation, but no beginner is going to guess that correctly, so they post to a forum, and are met with a general condescending attitude, usually several replies that amount to “if you had read the upgrade guide, you’d know what to do.” Of course when googling, you’re much more likely to find the general upgrade instructions, rather than this week’s specific upgrade guide with the known pitfalls and their fixes…
I’m sure it depends on the implementation… I turned it off on my Kia Sorento after it tried to follow the seams in the concrete instead of the lane markings, I had to fight it quite hard.
