1998 was great but 2004 was the greatest.

Push towards AI, away from quality answers. But specifically for the survey, it just became much shorter and less engaging.

I used to love doing this survey, but it’s just not the same anymore.

I feel like there is always more open source code to write. If not for practical reasons, then for experimental, educational or just humorous values.

That’s too harsh. They are sharing their thoughts on their personal website. No one needs to do anything here.

Also, as a person who believes that all software should be free, I don’t think that is an objectively stupid idea.
