I was a bit conflicted with the success of Bambu because they indicated their consumer hostility somewhat early on. I’d much prefer that for a company that furthers the ecosystem and encourages openness like Prusa or Ultimaker.
Bambu kept making super compelling products though. I’m hoping that they see this as an opportunity to repent and reshape the company. It feels like they’re more likely to dig in their heels. Luckily this controversy is before they could really establish monopoly like Adobe.
