Yes! And get snapper set up on BTRFS so you can roll back your install to a particular date before you fucked it up! It uses basically no extra space.

If you’re degoogling to reduce google’s influence in the world, not just in your life, you should avoid chromium based browsers entirely. Google’s chromium web rendering engine dominates most web traffic, and is squeezing out all alternatives. This leaves defining web standards in the hands of google pretty much exclusively. Vivaldi and Brave should be avoided for this reason. Brave founder Brendan Eich donates to funds seeking to undo gay marriage protections in the US and other reactionary causes, if that matters to you (it should).
