What’s the deal with flashforge? I can’t find much except that they’re integrating some kind of AI modeling software with their studio program?

That little floating copilot icon in excel is the devil’s work. I’m not a violent person but whoever came up with that should be flogged (IDK what flogging is but it sounds appropriate lol).

The amount of consumers who get a chub for overpaying is way too high. “Look at how much money I have! I can pay $3000 for a $400 product and not bat an eye!” Absolute schmucks.

Maybe my standards have been lowered by nextdoor. Nobody spelling you “ewe” because they’re using voice to text and not proof reading their brain diarrhea.

You mean a place where you can have intelligent discourse without somebody smearing shit all over while parroting Fox News talking points?

To cool the iss they’re exchanging heat into water pumping to ammonia exchangers then radiated through infrared. The radiators for a space data center would need to be prohibitively massive as I understand it.

People with actual reasoning and intellect will see these numskulls for what they are. Unfortunately the average person has very little reasoning or intellect. The amount of my peers who haven’t opened a book since school ended is too damned high.

100% accurate. I ran a family owned grocery and the owners never shut up about payroll. As soon as I started managing a department it was “you’re overstaffed” every flipping week. I explained my plan to use the extra hours to have the employees trained on how to make more prepared food instead of buying the premade junk. They complained and complained until the end of the second month when my numbers for prepared food in that single month grossed enough to pay for the extra staff need for over half the year.
They still complained I was overstaffed.

Lol we’re all talking about the locked down shit windows laptops work provides. Mine is totally fine except audio sounds like shit. You can understand speech just fine but music sounds like it’s coming through a tin can with a string.

Having tried a game with AI NPCs, they’re fucking awful. I don’t want to sit there and have a conversation with irrelevant individuals. Give me that concise “here’s your mission and reward.”
An AI companion who can converse, comment and learn may be cool, but I definitely don’t want anything like what I’ve seen.

Yup, if enough people switch to graphene big G will fuck them over. Exiting entirely is the only long term solution.

Steam decks are expensive and relatively bulky when compared to a phone. I don’t think it’s really a practical solution for most of us.

I mentioned dropping discord in my gaming group chat. Five non political normies and myself. Literally nobody is fighting to stay on discord. We’ll try a few alternatives and even if I’ve gotta fork over a few bucks a month, I will. Any site that requires id is dead to me.

Mine are so sharp the dentist asked if I wanted them dulled a bit. I of course told him to leave em sharp!

Not gonna fucking work anyhow. Prohibition doesn’t work, it hasn’t ever worked. If they can’t browse phub, they’ll find it somewhere else. You can find porn in fucking Roblox.

As the parent of a 4.5 year old I gotta say, what a stupid fucking take.

I think I had a stroke reading this.
From what I’m gathered, you believe no at home DIY mechanic should be changing their own brake pads? It’s not complicated, I completed my first pad change when I was 16 with a diagram and instructions a tow truck driver wrote on the back of a takeout menu. I did the sensible thing and tested them before moving and again at low speeds in a parking lot.

I’d say you want a human CEO so there’s accountability, but I don’t know that’s even true anymore.

If there’s no profit being made companies won’t keep spending. A large part of this bubble are the plans tech companies have to build out more AI. If these companies blink and reduce their plans it will begin the selloff. They’re still all in on forcing AI down your throat, because they need you to be used to using it so they can start charging you a monthly subscription.
I print toys for my kids, small pieces to fix things and not much else. While I’ve got nothing to hide, but still find this unnecessarily invasive.
