That’s the problem I’m asking for solution in the first place.
It doesn’t show anything at all. ಥ‿ಥ
Thank you.
It’s just that I like rEFInd’s versatile themes.
Limine does seem to have themes but it doesn’t feel as robust as rEFInd (in the theme aspect at least).
I do have access in my installed system.
But, CachyOS live doesn’t have btrfs-assistant in it.

gpstarman@lemmy.todayOPto Linux Gaming@lemmy.world•Where is Lutris Time played data is saved?English1·2 months agoI’ve found it on
~/.local/share/lutris/pga.db
.Btw, do you know where the KDE Plasma clipboard data is saved ? I’ve been using that as mini watch later list 😅

gpstarman@lemmy.todayOPto Linux Gaming@lemmy.world•Where is Lutris Time played data is saved?English1·2 months agoI’m not seeing any options to select a particular subvolume for installation.
Also, my entire BTRFS partition is LUKS2 encrypted.
gpstarman@lemmy.todayOPto Linux Gaming@lemmy.world•Where is Lutris Time played data is saved?English2·2 months agoLooks like I have to do this for every game separately.
gpstarman@lemmy.todayOPto Linux Gaming@lemmy.world•Where is Lutris Time played data is saved?English3·2 months agoThere is no lutris directory in .config. Some other person said it is available on
~/.local/share/lutris/pga.db
. I cannot confirm it right now, because I am on limited connection. Also, I don’t have separate home partition. But I do have a separate home BTRFS subvolume though.
Is it possible to install OS on particular subvolume while leaving others untouched? (Calamares installer - CachyOS)
It simply restarts.🙂
Short Answer: No, kernels are not snapshot ted
Long Answer: It’s bit weird in my case.
Boot, EFI, Root are three separate partitions in my case.
Root mounts to /
Boot mounts to /Boot
Efi mounts to /boot/efi
It is this way because when I initially partitioned the EFI, I gave very less storage. But linux kernels are bigger than that. So, either I have move the partition. Which I didn’t prefer because It’ll take a lot of time and it said possibility of data loss.
So, I simply created new partition.
By default, CachyOS only snapshot /@ and /@/home. Which didn’t include /boot because it’s a separate partition it’s own and not even BTRFS.
Yeah. I’ve been thinking about going back to Mint too. But the only thing stoping is that Arch is rolling distro. Which means I can get updates sooner. I mean linux gaming is getting better every day. I didn’t like to be on lag for a year of improvements. Also Vavle investing lot on Arch.
I chose CachyOS, because it is made for gaming, it has decent GUI tools of its own and on top all that it’s still Arch btw. So I can get benefits of Arch too.
Rolling distro can be both boon and bane. And now it didn’t end up very well for me.
If you mean to ask why do i have to restore snapshot in the first place, I updated the system. And I didn’t like the new update. First thing I noticed is Brave replaced all my group tabs to new tabs. When I searched about it, I came to know it’s a common , critical issue that still haven’t been solved🤦🏽♂️.
Also Brave is now significantly slower now.
I also noticed few are wierd or not there at all. ( Plasma 6.3.1)
Not yet.
I kindly request you to see the edited post too.
Thank you.
But, its already there. Also, I don’t do any raid.
