I have the 8bitdo 2c with PC dongle. The only game I had issues with is No Mans Sky, but those problems do occur on Windows as well. I like them better than my Xbox controllers.

Maybe check your drives for errors.

I had this EFI problem and it turned out to be a couple of file system errors on one of my old windows HDD’s I use for data (not the W11 system drive). I read it somewhere on internet this could be the problem. I think after doing the scannow thing and catching errors on Windows 11, Bazzite installed fine on a clean formatted SSD after.

Bazzite seems to be picky on disk errors, unlike Windows, Windows reported it as totally fine until I checked manually.

Just to make sure I disconnected the data drive, Bazzite installed without any effort (or errors).

Great card. I am surprised how well this card performs on Bazzite.

Ordered a PCI m.2 adapter card just now, a 1 TB (system) and 2TB (games) NVME drive to start gaming on Bazzite.

Everything neatly on 1 PCI adapter card so I can test on both my game rigs. For now to dual boot (or from bios) as I am inexperienced with Linux, but hoping to ditch W11 on both of them.

One can extend battery life with Home Assistant and any phone that can run the HA companion app.

I have a Samsung S9+ stuck on my fridge as a home assistant remote with a script controlling a 5V/1A charger + power switch. It will turn on when the S9+ battery is at 20% and off when at 80%. Charges slow but that is on purpose. HA monitors it’s battery health as well and will notify me when the state changes.

Yes I agree it is great. I am using it on a Raspberry Pi 400 for pihole. It’s lean and conveniant.

Heh, I understand taking up a tinkering challange. Seems there are custom roms that you might be able to flash on a fire tv but there is a chance of bricking it. You need boot menu installed and root access very likely.

I would have immediatly returned it to the shop, also I wonder what brand. You are the product…certainly for 250 bucks for a 65 inch TV. They really should have given you 250 dollar + TV. Maybe a year of Netflix premium maximus 8K.

Maybe a factory reset (hopefully) will bring back the original firmware.

I never enable the smart part. You want the smart part on a TV you are going to enable telemetry even if hou declined privacy agreements. I don’t trust any TV manufacturer, for sure not LG.

I use a seperate setupbox (Shields) that I can control with a pihole. So all my other input sources like my gaming PC’s, or the ones I use for tax and insurance do not get monitored by content recognition from the tv or Google. My LG oled’s work fine without updates.

It will be easy to detect if a TV is trying to connect to an open network even if you disabled the networking part. Network sniffers… I would throw out that TV in a heartbeat. Mostly hardware that can’t connect to an ip start requesting connection at a frequent rate, like my Nanoleafs blocked by pihole. Very desperate….They are top of the blocked ip’s.

I have Home Assistant + Music Assistant that integrates Jellyfin. Works well with our iPad’s to Denon Heos and such but I haven’t tested it on my Apple TV yet, it is collecting dust because it doesn’t do Stremio without having to fudge around.

Don’t, just get a refurb mini PC. I got one with space for a m.2 drive and a sata SSD 2’5 inch. If you need bigger storage use an external drive for storage and the m.2 for the VM’s.

I bought this one, upgraded storage to m.2 2TB and ram to 32GB and was done for almost 300€. Runs pihole, home assistant, music assistant, docker, jellyfin and other stuff without a problem. It is file serving sample library’s for my home studio too.

I bought the same cooler couple of weeks ago without the rgb, best choice budget cooler imo. Got it cooling a 7800x3d real good.
