seconding this, my gf struggles with tech, i put her laptop on linux mint and shes had a much easier time using it

i like‎ to use chaotic AUR, saves some time but keeps the general convenience

i use arch btw, and i call them folders (btw)

its kinda pointless making a big deal about what people call it as long as everyone is understood.

the beauty of linux is choice, theres loads of options and distros and software, who cares if you choose to call it a folder or directory?
