doesn’t signal use empty notifications by default?

No Uncle Sam’s paper dollars? ohh boy

We definitely need to develop apps for TVs. YouTube has a great advantage because it is there by default.

This is actually pretty nice. I guess we will see similar projects popping up in the near future.

I guess it was inevitable (for multiple reasons). Fortunately, there are lighter flavors of Ubuntu. For the more experienced unwilling to spend their resources this way, there are always other distros.

GitHub has been in a downward spiral lately. Codeberg seems to be a better home for “small” open source. Large open-source organizations already use their forge.

In fact, if they have the know-how, they should switch to something else. Android nowadays isn’t much different from iOS, and I’m pretty sure that what was included in iOS will eventually land on Android too.
Fediverse already exists, with all its tools and instances (Lemmy, Mastodon, PixelFed, etc). It’s democratic, as anyone can host an instance or join an instance where they are accepted.

I will continue to use FF for reasons other than performance (good adblocker, etc), but it was a bit sad seeing that I could’ve been getting more out of my hardware by using another browser.
