Untyped horseshit.
Man who runs second biggest Nazi bar reliant on Nazi money. More at 11.
I think where social media is particularly insidious is the use of algorithms.
No normal person wakes up and thinks “I think we should bring back the Nazis”, but like a post on Facebook about Remembrance Sunday or patriotism or even just catapults, and suddenly you’re on a fast track to white supremacist groups.
I’ve seen people go from chewing out a stranger in the supermarket for whining about foreigners, to spreading made up rumours about immigrants killing white girls.
In the past you’d hear about hate groups when they’re marching through London in Union Jack T-shirts, smashing curry shop windows. Social media lets people in on the bottom rung and ride it to that point.
Monitors, although I’m not sure I want my PC PSU powering those as well as everything else.
The only thing it’s good is autocomplete.
Which isn’t surprising because that’s all most “AI” is…
Stick a pin in your mouse cable and whizz it round like a compass. Easy.
Boycott Xbox!
Oh, everyone already is…
Yeah, Nintendo don’t help Israel.
Every billionaire competing to buy the world’s biggest megaphones…
Yeah, if you’re the sort of gamer who sells their games when they’re done with them, you can basically rent Nintendo games for the cost of postage and eBay fees… Second hand they’re only a few quid less than in the shops.
Ah c’mon man, that’s just not true.
Nintendo games will be $90 after a decade.
Steam games do go on sale eventually, but the best deals are often not even on Steam any more. I’ve got like >1000 games on Steam but most are from Humble Bundle before they went to complete shit.
You think Steam games won’t follow console prices?
I can currently get AC Shadows (just an example of a new game, I don’t want it) on PS5 (physical) for a few £ less than it is on Steam. They’ve gone from like £40 a few years ago to £60. As standard.
While rubbing their hands fast enough to start a fucking fire.
GPU prices never recovered. I’m still on a 1060.
Nintendo games never come down in price either.
BotW is still going for what it did on day one. Even second hand copies go for nearly that.
Although it does mean you can basically rent them for as long as you want for a few dollars if you sell it again afterwards…
Raping kids has unfortunately been a thing since long before the internet. You could legally bang a 13 year old right up to the 1800s and in some places you still can.
As recently as the 1980s people would openly advocate for it to be legal, and remove the age of consent altogether. They’d get it in magazines from countries where it was still legal.
I suspect it’s far less prevalent now than it’s ever been. It’s now pretty much universally seen as unacceptable, which is a good start.
Given the “we spared no expense” attitude to the rest of the data these things are trained on, I fear that may be wishful thinking…
Should be but search for “kwh per hour” and there’s plenty of people who seem confused by it all.
I see DLL Hell is still going strong…
“Delete all IP law” say people who have never created anything of any value to humanity.
